Barnett's Furniture features bedroom, living room, and dining room sets, as well as bedding, recliners, lift recliners, accent pieces, lamps, rugs, occasional tables and TV consoles (just to name a few).

The grand opening of Barnett's Furniture near Simpson began in April 1983.

Ron Barnett; who previously was in business several years prior in Marion, Illinois, opened the store with his daughter Laura Evitts. They managed the business together, supplying much of Southern Illinois with quality furniture at low prices. In 2002, Ron retired and sold his interest in the business to Laura's husband Jeff Evitts. Together, they own  the business today. Jeff and Laura invite you to stop by and browse their nearly 20,000 square feet selection of name brand furniture and compare their everyday low prices made possible by their low overhead.
